What can I do to decrease my puppy's separation anxiety? - puppy separation anxiety
My husband and I recently had a new puppy at home (Lab / Border Collie mix). He is 10 weeks and they have had for about 2 weeks. It is generally well educated and wear diapers, but we found a topic that needs help.
Whenever we go home in his cage, he complained heavily, and return home has almost always urinate on themselves. No different with accidents at home, and we are always very careful to ensure that they went into the bathroom, just before he fell into the field.
In all, leave it in its cage for a few hours at a time (maximum). The problem with urination, but also occurs when we leave in the drawer, only 30 minutes (for example, if we introduce a short stroke). Now he's even somewhat self-destructive if it is not alone. My husband came home for lunch today with puppy after they play packed for 3 hours. During this time we were away, it causes harm in some way to one of the legs is no longer much Pressurand.
I think that is my question: Is there a way to help overcome my dog separation anxiety? Are we doing something with the package? Are there other options for leaving dog alone at home?
We have tried to leave him alone in a room in our house with a nice dog bed, some toys, a bone, food and water, but that day we went to the wall beside the door and found drops of blood almost destroyed Puppies Puppies had hurt his leg while trying to escape and find his parents.
Any advice would be very grateful.
Thank you!

Dogs are social animals, so I do not like being alone. If you must leave the house, try the following:
1. Put an old T-shirt w / your scent on it in the kennel, the dog is to feel safe
2. Put classical music is to your wishes! This tends to calm the dog
3. Exercise the dog before you leave, whether the dog is a little tired and in a position to take a nap EAIS
4. Do not leave a big deal or go home. They are only part of a regular routine. If you are a big deal if the dog!
Good luck!
BTW, you will feel some separation anxiety, nothing, he left his mother and litter mates and is in a new setting. Over time, we need to improve. As the need to urinate, to their consumption of water and water was only moderately at certain times of the day. For example, you can never after 8pm. This helped the dogs and my house was quickly formed.
There are many who leave you and your husband the house. I think the dog must be someone or something in the house all the time. The options are ...
Get another dog
End of at least 1 person alone with him in a moment
Put it in the box with tons of toys and Blanky

Sign up for dog obedience training. This will help to socialize him, they have better manners, and helps you connect with what he knows it is best not to be abandoned. If you live in the United States, PetSmart has a good education. There are many companies in most sectors and providers. They can help with separation anxiety and teach him basic obedience. Good luck!
Make yourself before leaving the house so he can help you, coats and shoes and everything to leave and then return after a few minutes. Then, as you do not see just the dog did not even touch the dog. I know it's hard not to give but so much attention as usual
It will take some time, but it will grow out of it. When it somewhere where you feel good, should get out while you are away.
HES is too young to be alone
Border Collies are known for this problem, it can be in the genes ... Destruction could also be because you are bored and do not know what "to do." I left home for a period of time praising very short, and treat when he returns. You could consult an expert this specific problem and help. I'm sure there are better answers than me, you can also use the TV or radio on holiday ..
